"Sing to the LORD, all the earth! Tell of His salvation from day to day."

1 Chronicles 16:23

Music is a vital part of worship at Ebenezer. We enjoy praise music, traditional hymns, choral anthems, brass, organ, piano, strings and everything in between. Our God calls us to bring “a sacrifice of praise” , and this can be in English, Swahili, German, Latin or any other language!

Opportunities exist for anyone willing to “make a joyful noise,” and we welcome new choir members with open arms! Opportunities for high school students through senior citizens exist in the Adult Chancel Choir, Praise Team, or in small ensembles. For children, the Little Lights (3-6 years old) and Kingdom Kids (2nd-5thgrade) choirs offer opportunities to learn and sing together. The Kingdom Kids Choir is led by Laura Sue Guyton and Wilma Newman, and the Little Lights Choir is led by Joanna Reynolds.

Rehearsals for Children’s and Adult Choirs are held on Wednesday evenings while the PraiseTeam practices on Sunday morings.

  • Children’s Choirs: 6:00-6:45 p.m.
  • Adult Chancel Choir: 7:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Praise Team Practice: 8:30-9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
