Children's Ministry

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.'"

Matthew 19:14

Our children's ministry is focused "Inside-Out", as we work to build together a community of kids in Christ who are equipped to reach out to their community for Christ. We want our children to take possession and ownership of their own personal relationship with Jesus, and through discipleship and God's Holy Spirit, grow in their faith.

Ebenezer offers many opportunities for discipleship, from Sunday School and Children's Church on Sunday mornings to children's choirs and classes by ages on Wednesday nights.  On Sunday nights, we offer Neeza Club, a large group/small group multi-age, Bible-centered learning time.

Children are also encouraged to particpate in the Triathalon program which includes Bible memorization, Bible knowledge, and memorizing the Children's Catechism.  Triathalon folders for the year can be picked up in the church office.

Triathlon

  • Scripture memorization
  • Bible knowledge
  • Catechism questions

All children, 3 years old to 5th grade are invited to participate.  A team of Trithlon listeners are available for students each Sunday to recite what they have learned at home.  At the end of the year we will have an award ceremony and recognize those students who have completed the various stages of learning.

Triathlon Guide Books and First Catechism are available on the table outside the sanctuary.  If you have any questions, please email our Children's Ministry Director, Margaret Kiser.
